Terms governing the use of our website and garden planning services.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hagekrets AS website and the garden planning services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
Hagekrets AS is registered in Norway with its principal place of business at Markveien 35, 0554 Oslo.
Hagekrets provides garden planning and design services including plot garden plans, courtyard planting schemes, path and edge design, planting bed design, consultations, and full garden masterplans. Our services are planning and design only — we do not carry out physical landscaping, planting, or construction work.
Deliverables are provided as digital documents (PDF) unless otherwise agreed in writing. Physical prints may be available upon request for an additional fee.
A binding contract is formed when you accept a written proposal or invoice from Hagekrets and pay the required deposit. Proposals are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Site review visits (1 490 kr) are booked separately and do not constitute a commitment to purchase further services.
All prices are quoted in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and are listed on our Pricing page. Prices exclude VAT (merverdiavgift) where applicable. VAT will be added to invoices for business clients and where required by law.
Payment terms: 50% deposit upon project confirmation, balance due upon delivery of final plans. Invoices are payable within 14 days. Late payments may incur interest in accordance with the Norwegian Late Payment Interest Act (Forsinkelsesrenteloven).
One round of revisions is included in all standard service packages. Additional revision rounds are charged at 1 100 kr/h. Scope changes requested after project confirmation may result in revised pricing and timelines, which will be communicated before work proceeds.
Estimated delivery timelines are provided in proposals and are based on normal workload conditions. We will notify you promptly if delays occur. Timelines begin after receipt of deposit and completion of any required site visit.

Upon full payment, you receive a licence to use the delivered plans for your property. Hagekrets retains copyright in all designs, drawings, and documents. Plans may not be reproduced, resold, or used for commercial purposes without our written consent.
We may use anonymised project descriptions and photographs (with your consent) in our portfolio and marketing materials.
Our plans are advisory documents based on information available at the time of design. We are not liable for:
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under Norwegian law.
You may cancel a project before work begins for a full refund of any deposit paid. Once work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable. If Hagekrets cancels a project, any amounts paid will be refunded in full.
Consumers in the EEA may have additional rights under the Consumer Rights Directive. Contact us for information about your cancellation rights.
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, transmit harmful code, or use automated tools to scrape content without permission.
Website content is provided for general information. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties about completeness or suitability for any particular purpose.
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Oslo, Norway, with Oslo tingrett as the court of first instance. Consumer disputes may also be referred to Forbrukerrådet (the Norwegian Consumer Council).
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect upon posting on this page. Existing contracts are governed by the Terms in effect at the time of agreement.
