Every Hagekrets project follows a structured process designed to produce practical, climate-appropriate garden plans. Here is what to expect when you work with us.

Initial contact

You reach out via our contact form, email, or phone. We discuss your property, goals, and budget range. If appropriate, we schedule a site review visit (1 490 kr) or prepare a written proposal.

Site review

We visit your Oslo property to assess soil, drainage, sun exposure, existing vegetation, and access for snow clearance. We note microclimate factors and any municipal constraints.

Concept sketch

Based on the site review, we prepare a concept layout showing zones for planting beds, paths, seating, and lawn reduction areas. You review and provide feedback.

Detailed plan

We develop scaled drawings with planting species lists, path materials, edging specifications, and quantities. Plans are delivered as PDF documents ready for contractor use.

Revision round

One round of revisions is included in all standard packages. We adjust layouts, species selections, or material choices based on your feedback.

Implementation support

We provide guidance notes for landscapers and can recommend contractors in Oslo. For masterplan projects, we offer a phased timeline to spread work and cost across seasons.

Typical timelines

  • Site review to concept: 1–2 weeks
  • Plot garden plan: 3–4 weeks total
  • Courtyard planting: 2–3 weeks total
  • Full masterplan: 6–8 weeks total
