Hagekrets is a planning studio. We produce layout drawings, planting plans, and specifications. We can recommend trusted landscapers and contractors in Oslo for implementation, but we do not carry out physical work ourselves.
Every path design includes minimum width for snow clearance (typically 90–120 cm), proper drainage slopes, and edging materials that resist frost heave. We also plan evergreen structure planting so gardens look good even under snow cover.
Yes. Lawn reduction is one of our core services. We design alternatives including structured planting beds, gravel gardens, meadow strips, and ground cover that require less mowing and watering than traditional turf.
A site review (1 490 kr) is an on-site visit with verbal recommendations and a brief summary note. A full plan includes scaled drawings, species lists, material specifications, and a revision round — starting from 5 200 kr for plot layouts.
A plot garden plan usually takes 3–4 weeks from site visit to final delivery. Courtyard planting plans take 2–3 weeks. Full masterplans may take 6–8 weeks depending on scope and revision rounds.
Yes. We regularly design shared courtyard gardens and common-area planting for Oslo housing cooperatives. We can present to boards and adapt plans to cooperative budgets and maintenance agreements.
We favour hardy perennials, native shrubs, and naturalised species proven in USDA zone 4–5 conditions. Examples include hostas, geraniums, spirea, juniper, and various sedums. Every species list is tailored to your specific microclimate.
